The Ange Gardien apartments at Villefranche-sur-Mer are set in a lovely garden with palm trees, flower beds and Mediterranean plants with marvellous views of the sea, a short walk from the beach (no roads to cross). The apartments have a swimming pool with a terrace snack bar and sun loungers and there are tennis courts close by. A choice of shops and services and restaurant bars can be found 2 km away in the centre of Villefranche.
Villefranche-sur-Mer has one of the most beautiful natural harbours on the Riviera and has all the charm of a small seaside port with a warren of steep lanes and colourful buildings, a perfect Mediterranean climate and an attractive old town dating from the 17th century. There are easy links with Nice, Menton, Monaco and Ventimiglia by the RCA bus line or train. The airport in Nice is 15 minutes from Villefranche.
All the apartments have a main living room with a fully equipped kitchen area that includes a hob, refrigerator, mini-oven, dishwasher, coffee-maker. The bathroom has a bath, washbasin and toilet. There is a telephone, television and a balcony or terrace with garden furniture.
The 1 bedroom apartments have a living area with 2 single sofa-beds including one with a pull-out bed, and a bedroom with a double bed, sleeping 2 to 5 people.
The 2 bedroom apartments have a double bedroom, a cabin with 2 bunk beds and a living area with 2 single sofa-beds, one of which has a pull-out bed, sleeping 4 to 6 people in total.
Two apartments are available for people with reduced mobility.
Apart from the beach, pool and tennis courts, there are golf courses within reasonable driving distance.
Nice is 15 minutes from Villefranche and is a town that likes to enjoy itself. The Nice Carnival that takes place in February is the most famous of the winter festivals, when the town celebrates for two weeks with parties, parades, concerts and spectacular firework displays. The Regatta at the end of December is an International event that has been taking place for more than forty years and the most important in France. The Jazz Festival in July attracts musicians from around the world and is famous for its breathtaking location and wonderful atmosphere.
The Musιe Matisse is surrounded by an olive garden and the museum has a collection of paintings spanning the whole of Henri Matisse's work. The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art houses a collection of French and American art from the 1960's to the present. The Marc Chagall Museum has a large collection of works by the artist.

arriving at 5pm departing at 10am

Free outside car park with 120 places. (Locked with an access code).
